Tying on the Eagle Plume
Bronze sculpture depicting an older Lakota woman placing a sacred eagle plume onto a younger woman. The sculpture depicts the Lakota Sioux philosophy that all two-legged and four-leggeds are spiritually connected.
The statue replaces a controversial statue "He is, they are" by Glenna Goodacre showing a Native man with his hands tied behind.
