Abraham Lincoln (Hardin County, Kentucky, 1809 - Washington, D.C., 1865), 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865.
Graciously donated by the Rushmore-Borglum Story in Keystone, SD from their art collection This is the only self-sculpture ever done by Gutzon Borglum, the creator of Mount Rushmore. The sculpture is of Mr. Borglum and his son, Lincoln and is part of a total art piece by Gutzon Borglum called "Wars of America" |
