Do you believe in miracles?
Herb Brooks did.

As a young boy from the east side of St. Paul,
Herb Brooks walked these streets dreaming of greatness.
A determined hockey player and innovative coach, his
accomplishments were truly unparalleled.

A man of character and principle, Coach Brooks and his
Team USA touched millions and inspired a nation.
This monument depicts Coach Brooks at the precise
moment the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" Olympic gold medal
victory was achieved -- an event many believe to be the
greatest moment in all of sport.
