Description

The Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of St. Mary is a circular building in four tiers with five 'wings' protruding from the middle tier. On the top is a bronze (?) statue of St. Mary Immacolate, and further there are white (marble, polyester?) statues on the end of the roofs of the five wings and eight statues in front of the 2nd tier on the northeastern side.

The Marian Center in Valdragone is a place for spiritual exercises, retreats and pilgrimages. The center includes the Marian Shrine, the House for Spiritual Exercises (Casa di Spiritualità San Giuseppe), and the Monastery of the Clarisse, set in a large park. The Center is built between 1965 and 1968.
