Annotation

Shopping and Office Center (2008, architect. V.V. Kolosnitsyn - В. В. Колосницын). Built on the site of the demolished building Voyentorg - Военторг (1913, architect. S.B. Zalesskiy - С. Б. Залесский). According to a survey of the leading architects in Moscow, held in early 2010 by the magazine Forbes the retail and office center "Voentorg" won first place in the list of the ugliest buildings in the capital.

The façade of the new building is almost identical to the old one, including the both warriors, who were placed as memory of the Battle of Borodono (1912), the 100th anniversary of which was celebrated during the construction of the original building.
