Description

Bronze sculpture of a woman sitting on the ground, holding in her hands a pair of compasses and a staff with an eye on top.

Annotation

One of the two statues at the building of the Caixa Sindical de Previdência e Abono de Família do Funchal (Union Bank for Welfare and Family Allowance of Funchal), designed by architect Chorão Ramalho, inaugurated 23 April 1971. The other sculpture is A Família (The Family).
