Description

Bronze statue of Prince Henry, sitting, under an arch.

Annotation

The statue is inaugurated 28 May 1947.

N.B. Because of construction works on the Praça do Infante and restauration of the monument, it was not possible to come close to the statue.

Sculptor

Leopoldo Neves de Almeida (Lisboa 1898 - 1975), Portuguese sculptor (Wikipedia – Vida e obra do escultor Leopoldo de Almeida).
