O GOLDEN GATE faz parte do
Património Histórico do Funchal que o
BANCO COMERCIAL PORTUGUÉS
entendeu recuperar e "devolver" à Madeira.
Esta devolução, contudo, só ficaria completa
e ganharia todo o sentido, perpetuando nesta
"ESQUINA DO MUNDO"
a presença de FERREIRA de CASTRO,
que tanto contribuiu para lhe dar a Alma que
às vezes as coisas também tém, quando os Homens
as amam e vivem com intensidade.

The GOLDEN GATE is part of
the historical heritage of Funchal that the
Banco Comercial Português
had understood, retrieved and "given back" to Madeira.
This return, however, would only gain complete
and perfect sense, perpetuating this
"CORNER OF THE WORLD"
with the presence of FERREIRA de CASTRO,
who contributed so much to give it a soul that
sometimes things tains also when men
love them and live with intensity.
