Description

Female figure guarding ducks. She holds with her left hand a bunch of flowers while with her right hand she feeds four ducks.

The sculptor was inspirred by the king's daughter Emília from the fairy tale 'As tres irmãs' (The Three Sisters, Text in Portuguese) which was adapted by Eugénio de Castro for poetry
