Description

Bronze sculpture, about 4 m high, of a man with a book as head. On the cover of the book is the text LISBOA - PESSOA. The sculpture stands in front of the building where Fernando Pessoa was born and lived until the age of five. It was executed in 2001 by Jean-Michel Folon and inaugurated by a local initiative on 13 June 2008, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of the poet.
