The seven figures are grouped into three distinct groups: three women standing side by side, two men carrying a kind of padiola and two others sitting. Five of them perform quidian tasks of transporting implements associated with the work of the land; the two seated figures, one of whom could be Al Mouhatamid Ibn Abbad (who was also a poet and is considered to be among the best of the Andalusian poets), are observing the other figures.
All figures are carved in different kind of stone from Silves and are standing on stainless steel 'islands'. Moreover, four stainless steel islands are inscribed with Arabic texts.
