Description

Bronze bust on a console on the façade of the Biblioteca municipal Ernesto do Canto.
A few years ago the bust stood on a pedestal with the text "Ernesto do Canto, 1831-1900. Homenagem do Município de Ponta Delgada no centenàrio da sua morte" (tribute by the Municipality of Ponta Delgada at the centenary of his death).
