Description

Equestrian statue of the King/Grand-Duke on his horse Wexy. It is placed on a high pedestal richy adorned with a bronze text cartouche (front), the bronze coats-of-arms the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg (left), the Netherlands (right), and on the four sides the coats-ofarms of the Luxembourgian towns:
  • (back) luxemburg, diekirch
  • (left) esch s.A., vianden, echternach, wiltz
  • (right) capellen, redange, grevenmacher, clervaux
  • (back) mersch, remich Around the statue is an iron fence with the King's monogram and the dates 1841 and 1848.
