Bronze statue of Ubaldino Peruzzi depicted when, on 27 April 1859, he spoke to the people assembled in what was then Piazza Maria Antonia to announce the departure from the city of the last Grand Duke, Leopold II.
On the pedestal are four bronze reliefs depicting episodes of Peruzzi's life:
