Description

Marble statue of Ferdinando I de' Medici with at his feet a kneeling woman with two children. The statue is sculpte by Pietro Francavilla after designs of Giambologna.

According to Pisa illustrata (Livorno 1812) the statue was signed: "Ex archetypo Joan. Bonon. Belg. Petrus a Francavila Cameracensis fecit Pisis a.d. MDXCIV."
