Description

In the front façade of the cathedral is in the center a niche with a sculpture group with St. Mary and Child, and at the sides niches with statues of St. Peter and Paul, these statues were donated by Cardinal Borromeo before his returned to Milan after consecrating the cathedral in 1575.
