Description

Large marble sculpted head of Luke Kelly, with metal wire for hair.
It was unveiled by President Michael D. Higgins, in the presence of Nial Ring Lord Mayor of Dublin, on 30 January 2019 at 3.30pm, 90 minutes after they unveiled Kelly's statue in South King Street. The marble head was commissioned by the City Council and the statue was offered as a donation by a private individual Gerry Hunt.
