Description

There is a calvary group and four saints' statues around St. Joseph's Church (two are identical!):
  1. Calvary group with Crucifix, Saint Mary, Saint John the Apostle and Saint Mary Magdalena.
Calvary or Golgotha was the site, outside of ancient Jerusalem's early first century walls, at which the crucifixion of Jesus occurred. In religius sculpture, a calvary is a type of monumental public crucifix with two or more adjoining statues (Wikipedia).

  4. St. Mary Immaculate Conception (south side of the church), identical with no. 2.
  5. St. Joseph with Jesus (south side of the church).
the husband of the Virgin Mary and the earthly father of Jesus Christ (in distinction to God, his "heavenly father") (Wikipedia).
