Description

Bronze statue of O'Connell as a neo-classical figure as a Roman with a toga and gravitas. Under the toga he wears contemporary clothes, and the text of the Act of Catholic Emancipation is prominent in his left hand.

This statue is the first outdoor public statue of O'Connell.
