Description

Limestone statue of Edmiund Rice, resting his left hand on the shoulder of a schoolboy, both standing in front of a slab and a harp. On the front and the sides of the pedestal are reliefs, symbolizing the educational work of the Christian Brothers

  1. Christ with the Children and the Aposltes.
  2. Music of Life.
  3. Globe of the World and Learning.

On the back are the names of the names of the famous provinces of the the Congregation of Christian Brothers: Ireland, England, Gibraltar, Australia, Newfoundland, New Zealand, United States, India, South Africa, Rome, Canada, Tasmania, Argentina and Scotland.
