Dublin - Baile Átha Cliath / Gulliver and the Lilliputians

Description

Eight terracotta plaques (Ø 91 cm) depicting scenes of A Voyage to Lilliput, part I of Gulliver's travels by Jonathan Swift, taken from an 1899 edition. They are set high in the walls of some newly constructed public housing on the corner of Bride St. and Golden Lane, and preserve the link with Jonathan Swift, who was dean of the nearby St. Patrick's Cathedral.
