Annotation

The bust was unveiled on 17th October, 2011 jointly by the Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr Eamon Gilmore and Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Smt Preneet Kaur, to mark the 150th birth anniversary of the Indian National Poet and Nobel Laureate. The bust is the first and only one of a non-Irish personage till date in St Stephen's Green.
