Annotation
From 1543 to 1688 the city was occupied by the Turks. The relief celebrates the 250th anniversary of the liberation from the Turks.
Unveiled on 19 May 1938, at the same time as the statues of Szent Imre, Kálmáncsai, Varkocs and Wathay at the 900th anniversary of the death of St. Stephen.
