Székely Hungarian man-at-arms from Transylvania, who led a peasants' revolt against the nobility. He was executed along with his followers, and remembered as both a Christian martyr and a dangerous criminal

Description

Limestone sculpture group. In the center a 4.7 m tall statue of Dózsa György, with the year "1514" in the socle, flanked by groups of his companions of over 3.5 m tall. The whole monument measures 28 meters in length.
