Description

Bronze sculpture of St. George with an impressive dragon under his horse.

The original tin sculpture was made by Ferkorn in 1853 for a decorative fountain at the Montenuovo palace in Vienna. The bronze cast was made in 1855 for the world exhibition in Paris, and was acquired in 1866 by Stjepan Pejaković for the town of Zagreb.
