Two statues at the west portal of St. Mark's church:
  1. sv. augustin - Sv. Augustin / St. Augustine of Hippo (354 - 430), Bishop of Hippo Regius (present-day Annaba, Algeria), philosopher and theologian; his writings were very influential in the development of Western Christianity (Wikipedia).
  2. sv. kvirin - Sv. Kvirin / St. Quirin Roman tribune, martyr, said to have been decapitated in 116. Numerous wells and springs were dedicated to him. He was invoked against the bubonic plague, smallpox, and gout; he was also considered a patron saint of animals (Wikipedia).
