Description

Stone cenotaph with an urn with eternal flame at the top and with reliefs at front and back. The architect was Ernest Theakstone, the sculptor Stanley Nicholson Babb. It was unveiled 10 July 1921 by Capt. S.H. Ratcliffe, Senior Naval Officer in Yorkshire District.
