Statue of Sir Samuel Sadler in court dress and mayoral robes with a scroll in his right hand. The pedestal is decorated with the town's coat of arms in bronze.

The statue was unveiled 21 June 1913 by Colonel J.E.B. Seely, Secretary of State for War.
