Choir Screen Figures in the Ripon Cathedral |

The choir screen in Ripon Cathedral features eight carved and painted kings and bishops who played a part in the history of the cathedral, with another 24 statues of angels in niches above. The screen dates from the fifteenth century, the statues are added in 1947. They were unveiled in August 1947 by the Princess Royal.
For this site, we only photographed the eight large statues.
