Statue of the Duke of Wellington in the dress of a Field Marshall.
The statue was erected in front of the town hall 7 December 1855, but inmediately covered with tar pawling, and boarded, since it would be unveiled about the same periode as the opening of the Town Hall, which happened in 1858. The statue stood until 1937 near the City Hall.
