Marble statue of George Leeman. "The figure is posed on the left foot, with the right thrown back. The left thumb is placed in the armhole of the waistcoat and the right hand is slightley extended as if in emphasis of argument when addressing an assembly. This was a familiar attitude of the late Mr. Leeman, and one which has been happily represented by the artist."
