Britannia, Ruler of the Waves

Description

On top of the facade of the former Hull Exchange Company, built 1866 by architect W. Botterill, is a sculpture of a female figure Britannia al 'Ruler of the Waves' with a trident, with next to her a shield with the union jack. She is accompanied by a lion.
