Description

Statue of a mourning miner with his wife an two children. The miner is wearing a helmet with headlight, dressed in vest, with trousers and padded knee protectors, and boots. He has his left hand on the shoulder of a small girl wearing a skirt and top, bare headed, hair tied either side and fringe, and wearing short boots. His wife is dressed in a frock, wearing a shawl over her head and shoulders, barefoot and holding a baby wrapped in a shawl.
