Description

The Hall of Memory is a war memorial erected 1922-25 to commemorate the 12,320 Birmingham citizens who died in World War I. Around the hall are four bronze statues representing:
  1. the Army, man with gun and globe,
  2. the Navy, man with rope and steering wheel,
  3. the Air Force, a man with a propellor,
  4. Women's Services, a woman with a laurel wreath.
