Description

Bronze statue of Llewelyn the Great with coronet and full armour standing with sword and shield, and painted. The statue surmounts a Corinthian column, standing in an octagonal basin. The rim of the basin is incised:
LLEWELYN AB IORWERTH FOUNDER OF CONWY ABBEY A.D. 1184
