It has been decided to commemorate the public services to Wales of the late Mr D. Davies, ex-M P. for Cardigan, by the erection of a bronze statue at Barry Dock, at a cost of 2,000 guineas, and a similar statue at Llandinam, his birthp;ace, at a coat of 1,000 guineas.The Barry Dock Statue was unveiled 10 March 1893 by Lord Windsor, the Llandinam statue a little later.
