Gareth Jones

In memory of Gareth Richard Vaughan Jones, born 1905,
who graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth
and the University of Cambridge. One of the first
journalists to report on the Holodomor, the Great Famine
of 1932-1933 in Soviet Ukraine.

Er cof am Gareth Richard Vaughan Jones, ganed 1905, a
raddiodd o Brifysgol Cymru, Aberysstwyth a Phrifysgol
Caergrawnt. Un o'r newyddiadurwyr cyntaf i adrodd ar y
Newyn Mawr yn yr Wcain, 1932-1933.

Пам'ятi випускника Валiйського унiверситету в м. Абериствит
i Кембриджського унiверситету Ґерета Ричарда Воена Джоунза
(нар. 1905 р.) - одного з перших журналiстiв, якi повiдомили
про Голодомор у радяанськiй Украïнi 1932-1933 рр.

Placed in his honour by the Ukrainian Canadian Civil
Liberties Foundation, with the assistance of the Ukrainian
Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Great Britain, the
Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada, the Ukrainian
American Civil Liberties Association, and the Association
of Ukrainians in Great Britain.
