Description

"Re-creation" of the mediaeval town cross showing a calvary scene - the crucifixion with Mary and John the Apostle, on the sides are the figures of St. Catherine and St. Margaret, and a pieta on the reverse. The model was found in the River Usk near Newport Castle in 1925.
