Gate with in the pediment a bust of Henry Danvers, 1st Earl of Danby (1573-1643), English soldier , founder in 1621 of the Oxford Physic Garden, renamed the Oxford Botanic Garden in 1840 (Wikipedia).

  1. Charles I (Dunfermline Palace 1600 - Whitehall Palace 1649), King of England, 1625-1649 (Wikipedia).
  2. Charles II (St. James's Palace 1630 - Whitehall Palace 1685), King of England 1660-1685 (Wikipedia), depicted in ancient Roman dress.
