Description

Sculpture of a a blindfolded head. It is a maquette for a larger statue to be placed in the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire. Eight copies are on display at the British Embassy, Dubai; the British Embassy, Paris; Chester Cathedral (since 2018); Liverpool Cathedral; Sheffield Cathedral; University Church, Oxford; the Europaplatz in Limburg an der Lahn, Germany, and the Basilica of Saint Mary, Minnesota, USA.

Pity of War

The 'Pity of War' statue is a national memorial to
those affected by war.

It is a nationwide project to outreach and educate
all ages and to encourage empathy with international
war victims.
