Description

St George's Hall, opened in 1854, is a Neoclassical building which contains concert halls and law courts. On the left (southern end) and right (northern end) side is a series of six reliefs, showing respectively the Progress of Justice and the National Prosperity.

administers by the sword.

jvstice, relieved of her sword by virtve
and of her scale by concord.

jvstice receives the kiss of righteovsness,
and the crown of immortality.
