Description

Roman Doric column with a statue of Victory, depicted as a nude man holding a laurel wreath in his outstretched right arm, with shield and drapery, standing on a ship's prow. The column is decorated with beaks of ships.
It was designed by the architect Arthur Davis and made by the sculptor Henry Pegram.
