Gilded bronze statue above the entrance of the Savoy Hotel.

Annotation

Count Peter of Savoy (d. 1268) was the maternal uncle of Eleanor of Provence, queen-consort of Henry III of England, and came with her to London.

Sculptor

Frank Lynn Jenkins (1870 - 1927), British sculptor, artist and stone carver (Mapping of Sculpture).
