Description

Bronze bust. The circular baseplate is shaped as a compass, with on the edge the inscription:
This day, when my Soul's form bends to the East. Hence is't that I am carried towards the West.
(the words East and West are below the agreeing compass points).

The plinth is also placed on a compass, with on the cardinal points the texts:
