Description

Polychrome statue of Jeanne d'Arc, called Prière avant le combat ('The Prayer before the Battle'). Jeanne d'Arc is depicted in armour with her hands folded before here and holding a sword with her right hand. Behand her are her helmet and armoured gloves.

The signature 'Cachet' is obviously the name of the painter, cf. the statue of St. Mary in the same village.
