Concrete semi-circular monument shaped as a film screen with a relief of 66 m2 on the outer side. In the center of the relief are portraits of the Lumière Brothers and scenes of famous films.
Above the relief is the text:

At the top of the film screen:
dans ce quartier de la ville de lyon a ete invente le cinematographie en 1895 par auguste et louis lumiere, nes a besançon, bienfaiteurs de l'humanite, et realisateurs d'importantes decouvertes en physique chimie biologie
The design of the sculptures is by Francisque Lapandéry, the sculptures were made by Michel Lapandéry and André Tajana.
Later, the 'film-screen' was enlarged at the top with printed cloth with a photo of the Lumière Brothers and text.
