Description

Stone statue of an angel with his arms stretched out, flanked by two columns with bronze cauldrons inscribed with the names of the battlefields. The columns are (later) inscribed with the dates of both world wars. The whole is placed on a base with reliefs of soldiers on the corners and texts on the faces. Before the front faces lies the statue of a dead soldier.

battv et jete hors de FRANCE la pvissante armee allemande et l'ont contrainte a
demander la paix
