Description

Bronze statue of Marianne, the allegorical representation of France, with flag and sword, standing next to an altar monument with the texts a la patrie and liberte egalite fraternite. The statue is on a pedestal with at the foot a soldier looking up and stretching out his arm to France. On both sides of the pedestal are walls with the list of names of the fallen.

The names of the fallen in World War II were added later.
