Stone obelisk with on the front on a pedestal a bronze bust of Godin, surmounted by a relief of Immortality attached to the obelisk. On the other side of the monument is a bust of Marie Adèlie Moret, Godin's wife (a identical with the bust on the second copy of this bust is on the Familistère square).

Just as the Godin statue, the bronze parts of this monument were debunked by the German Army during the First World War to be melted, then reconstituted by Félix Charpentier. The monument was inaugurated again on 12 September 17.
Jean-Baptiste André Godin and his second wife Marie Adèlie Moret are both buried in this mausoleum
