Description

Former fountain (the basins filled with plants) with an upper basin supported by the three Giants of Bourbourg. The outer edge of the lower basin has a relief of horses. The figures are:

Florentine, the nurse, with Bimbin, Gédéon's son.

Annotation

At Midsummer there is a traditional procession in Bourbourg with Gédéon and his family. Gédéon himself is very old, his wife Arthurine was added in 1927, followed in 1931 by the nurse Florentine and the son Bimbin.

The sculpture is made with help of a 3D pantograph developed by Dufloo in 1999.
